Fashion Initiative Update

We are so very grateful to Karen and Debbie at Pick Up Every Stitch for their enormous generosity, and solidarity with young women in haiti, in donating over 10,000$ of high quality yarn to our fashion design initiative.

This ongoing program, which has already yielded stunning designs and a fashion show

Kicks into its second phase with an eye towards designing for an international market. This wouldn’t be possible without the ladies from Pick Up Every Stitch and is a great example of women lifting up women across spatial and cultural divides.  We plan to work hard over the next months to prove worthy of such consideration.
